How to Maintain a Rear Door Handle on 2000 Dodge Dakota?

Begin by removing the trim covering on the vehicle's rear and pulling back the waterdam to expose the rear door handle. After that, take out the glass run channel and cut off the latch rod connection. After that, take out the nuts that keep the handle fastened to the outer door panel and pull the outside handle free from the rear door. Put the outside handle in the rear door and use the nuts to attach it to the back door panel during installation. Many the use of a latch rod, set the glass run channel back in place, put the waterdam in the right spot and lastly, fit the trim panel.
