To do rear door hinge repair, start by taking off the B-pillar trim and disconnecting the door harness wire. Place the door on a proper stand and indicate where the hinge will sit on the B-pillar with a grease pencil. Pull out the bolts that hold the hinge to the B-pillar and remove the door. With that, identify the location for the hinge on the door and eliminate the bolts that join the hinge to it. Take the hinge and correctly position it on the door, then bolts all the way to tighten it to 28 N.m (20 ft.lbs). Either mark or place the B-pillar hinge on the outside of the vehicle, insert the bolts, torque them to 28 N.m (20 ft.lbs.) and then attach the second hinge. After that, plug in the door wire harness connector and put in the B-pillar trim.
