How to Service and Repair a Rear Door Latch Assembly on 2000 Dodge Durango?

You should first take out the trim panel and peel off the waterdam to reach the rear door latch. Take the latch rods off the latch and follow by separating the latch harness connection. After that, take out the screws that tie the latch to the rear door. Before installation, link the latch harness connector and then screw the latch into place at the rear of the vehicle. Attach the latch rods to the latch, set in the waterdam and then add the trim panel.
