To service the power door lock actuator, replace the whole door latch unit, if the motor is faulty. For the liftgate, traffic disconnecting battery, remove the trim panel, unscrew the motor, unplug the harness, the link, and remove the motor. Reinstall reversing these steps and tighten screws to 3.3 Nm.
