2000 Dodge Neon Radiator Cap Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Radiator Cap on 2000 Dodge Neon?
A: Keep the radiator cap right side up and gently pull it to find out if the vent valve at the bottom opens. If you see the rubber gasket is swollen and blocks the valve from opening or if you notice light leaking between the vent valve and the rubber gasket, you should change the cap. Make sure the replacement cap contains a spring to keep the vent closed and was created especially for coolant reserve systems so the proper pressure is maintained.
