  A: Start by jacking up the vehicle, then raise it on a hoist and take out the right inner splash shield. After that, eliminate the accessory drive belts and drain the coolant from the vehicle. Take out the bolts that keep the power steering pump assembled, but don't separate the lines yet. After that, take out the upper and lower torque isolator struts, hold up the engine from the bottom and remove the bolt and bracket for the right engine mount. Take out the timing belt and tensioner, after which remove the camshaft sprocket and the rear timing belt cover. Disconnect the screws that connect the pump to the engine and remove the pump.
