When you're replacing the brake master cylinder, you should bleed it prior to installation. Fasten the brake master cylinder over the booster mounting studs, secure it with its mounting nuts tightened to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.) and reconnect the brake lines, tightening them by 19 - 23 Nm (170 - 200 inch lbs.).
