How to Service and Repair a Pitman Arm on 2000 Dodge Ram 2500?

To repair the Pitman Arm you need to remove the tie-rod nut and remove the tie-rod end ball studs. Remove the inner tie-rod ends and idler arm stud, and remove the pitman arm. Install the idler arm, centre the steering gear and tighten all components to specified torque. Adjust the toe and lock the tie-rod adjustment sleeve.
