How to Maintain and Fix a Timing Chain on 2000 Dodge Ram 3500?

In order to fix the timing chain, the battery should be disconnected, Timing Chain Cover should be removed, and timing marks should be aligned by turning the crankshaft. Take out timing chain and camshaft sprocket. Install the sprockers and chain making sure that they are aligned, tighten the camshaft bolt. Measure end play of check camshaft and fit up cover.
