A liftgate hinge can be repaired by opening the liftgate and holding it up. Take out the trunk trim panel and (possibly) headlining. Indicate where the liftgate studs are and then take out the hinge nuts and bolts. Install the new hinge, which is attached to the sport bar and liftgate and reassemble the parts.
