How to Properly Remove and Install a Piston in an Engine on 2000 Jeep Cherokee?

In order to pull out the piston, remove the cylinder head cover, rocker arms and push rods. Ridge reamer the walls of the cylinders, empty the oil and take out the oil pan. Install the piston and connecting rod assembly and be sure that the connecting rod and piston are in place correctly and cleared before reassembling the connecting rod caps.
