How to Remove and Replace a Piston in an Engine on 2001 Jeep Cherokee?

To change the piston, take off the engine cylinder head cover rocker arms, push rods and cylinder head. Install a ridge reamer on the side walls of the cylinders, empty the oil and clean the oil pan. Install new rings and pistons and make sure they are in the correct position. Assemble and stuff the crankcase with oil.
