How to Maintain Your Air Filter for Optimal Performance on 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

The first step in servicing the air filter is to un latch four clips that hold the air cleaner cover in place to the air cleaner housing. Remove the air cleaner and then lift the cover and position it to the side. To install the new air filter, clean out the inside of the air cleaner housing first. Then put the new air filter into the housing and latch the clips and clamp the cover down so that the air cleaner cover is properly seated to the air cleaner housing.
