  A: Serve the battery tray by first removing the battery from the tray and then pulling out the Power Distribution Center from the stanchions on the outside edge of the tray and support. Following this, lower the front of the battery tray and support unit away from the bracket on the right side of the radiator support. Next, remove the screw that holds the front of the battery tray and support to the cowl reinforcement and, finally, the nut securing the rear to the stud on the right fender panel. Pull out the battery temperature sensor from the battery tray and then take out the tray and support unit in the right front section of the engine bay. To install, clean and investigate the battery tray and its support and then insert the battery temperature sensor into the tray. Slide the tray and support unit into place at the right front in the engine compartment, avoiding any pressure on hoses or wires. First, fit the support unit into the battery tray, fasten it to the right fender stud using a nut tightened to 7.3 Nm (65 in. lbs.), then attach the support unit to the right wheelhouse fender using a screw tightened to 8.1 Nm (72 in. lbs.) and finally fit the support to the radiator support bracket on the right using a third screw also tightened to 8.1 Nm (72 in. lbs.).
