How to Locate and Replace a Fuel Level Sensor and Float Assembly on 2001 Jeep Wrangler?

This unit and assembly are found on the side of the fuel pump module which lies within the fuel tank. The first step is to separate the fuel tank from the vehicle and next remove the fuel pump module. Release the electrical connection from the sending unit and press on the contact tab to pull the sending unit from the pump module. To install the system, fit the sending unit to the pump module, make the electrical connection, install the pump module again and attach the fuel tank last.
