2001 Chrysler LHS Coolant Temperature Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2001 Chrysler LHS?
A: Prior to servicing or repairing the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, remove the negative battery cable. Detach the electrical cable from the coolant sensor when the engine of the car is still cool and then extract the sensor. When putting in the temperature sensor, tighten it using a torque of 28 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). After that, link the electrical connector to the sensor and then attach the negative battery cable.
