How to Service Car Speakers on the Instrument Panel on 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

The first step in working on the instrument panel speaker is to take away and isolate the battery negative cable. After that, take out the instrument panel top cover and unscrew the two screws that hold the speakers in place. Remove the speaker and cut off one side of the wire connection. Installation requires you to add speaker wire, drop in the speaker and attach the retaining screws from each side. Replace the instrument panel top cover, plug in the negative battery cable and test everything in the vehicle.
