  A: Start by lifting the hood and taking off the battery negative cable to work on the power door lock switch. Then, open the front door and take out the front door trim panel. Detach the connector from the door lock switch, then unscrew the two fasteners that are keeping the switch in place and pull the switch out from the trim panel. For installation, line the switch up with the trim panel and fasten it with two screws. Clip the wire entirely to the door lock switch and place the front door trim panel back in place. Shut the front door, attach the battery negative cable back and close the hood. Make sure you test and check every part of the car and the system.
