  • Q: How to Maintain Your Windshield Washer Nozzle on 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
    A: Start by opening the hood and lifting out the underhood, rear hood silencer pad mounts. Take out the windshield washer hose from the front washer nozzle's underside and bring the hood of the car to the upward position. Underneath the washer nozzle, place a spreading device made from plastic on the front to avoid harming the hood seal. Shake the nozzle gently back and forth so it comes free from the hood panel. Insert the nozzle into the hood without opening it and then snap it securely, after that, open the hood again. Attach the windshield washer hose to beneath the nozzle and test the washer system, along with its connections, by pushing the washer switch in the car. Following this, put the front underhood, rear hood silencer pad fasteners back in position and make sure the hood is shut.
