2001 Chrysler Sebring Speed Sensor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Speed Sensor on 2001 Chrysler Sebring?
A: Start the maintenance of the Transmission Speed Sensor by disconnecting the battery negative cable and lifting the car above with a hoist. Once the spindle belt is installed, take out the connector from the output speed sensor and remove the output speed sensor while inspecting its O-ring. Replace it if necessary. First, ensure the O-ring is rightly placed and then tighten the input speed sensor to a torque of 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). When all is finished, link the speed sensor cable and the negative battery cable once more.
