After an air bag deployment, pick up and roll or fold it toward the instrument panel. After that, close the door and secure the folded air bag with tape. With a vacuum, clear up the last of the powder in the car, starting from the outsides so you don't contaminate the inside. Don't forget to vacuum the heater and A/c outlets and if the Hvac was in Recirc mode, use the blower on low heat to remove any dust from the heat outlets and vacuum as many times as is necessary for a good clean. If the passenger air bag goes off without a collision, change the Passenger air bag and the Upper instrument panel with pad, since these cannot be used again. Also, inspect the heat duct by the passenger air bag and fix or replace it plus any other parts of the passenger air bag system if they are damaged.
