How to Safely Service and Replace a Blower Motor Resistor for Rear on 2001 Dodge Caravan?

To service the blower motor resistor, allow the blower motor resistor five minutes to cool, and then disconnect the battery negative cable. Take out the right quarter/ trim panel, the D-pillar trim panel, detach the harness of the HVAC wire and take out the resistor. Install the new resistor, re-connect the harness and reassemble the panels and battery.
