How to Change an Air Filter on 2001 Dodge Dakota?

Start by removing the spring clips from the cover which is pressing down on the housing. As soon as the clips have been released, pull out the housing cover from the locating tabs. Remove the air cleaner part and then clean inside the housing before installing the new air filter. After that, put the new air filter into the housing and replace the housing cover on the locating tabs. Afterwards, push the spring clips up to hold the cover in place on the housing.
