  A: Begin by isolating the battery negative cable to shut off the air bag system and afterward wait two minutes for the air bag system capacitor to discharged to prevent any risk of accidental deployment. To start, pull the cluster bezel away from the instrument panel. Unclip the snap features between the top of the ash receiver housing and the instrument panel's lower bezel using a trim stick or a suitable flat-bladed device. Pull the back section and ash receiver away from the lighter and free the connecting wire harness for the cigar lighter at the instrument panel. Remove both the ash receiver and housing unit from underneath the lower bezel. When installing, return the ash receiver and housing to the instrument panel, attach the second replacement connection for the enclosed cigarette lighter and insert the small tabs of the base into their connectors nearby. Fit the snap features on top of the housing into the matching receptacles and push up until everything is fastened. Attach the cluster bezel onto the instrument panel and reconnect the negative battery cable.
