A: Start by removing the negative battery cable from the battery when working on service or repair of the cruise control servo. Afterward, remove the vacuum hose from the servo, unplug the electrical connector at the servo and take out the servo cable from the throttle body. Legs or clutch polygone e Remove the two mounting nuts on the part that attaches the servo cable sleeve to the bracket and then take out the cable retaining clip by pulling the servo cable sleeve and speed control outward from the bracket. Watch how the servo is aligned with the bracket as you take it out of the mounting bracket. First, line up the small hole in the cable connector with the servo pin of the motor, secure it to the mounting bracket and snap in the cable-to-servo clip. Go ahead and pass the servo mounting studs through the holes into the mounting bracket and install the nuts, tightening them to 8.5 Nm (75 in. lbs). First, connect the vacuum line and electrical connector at the servo and next, link the servo cable to the throttle body. Next, link the negative battery cable back to the battery and, before beginning the engine, use the gas pedal to see if there are any problems.
