Start by lifting and supporting the vehicle before you loosen the front cable's adjusting nut. Remove the cable connector from the front cable, press down on the cable end fitting at the underbody bracket, then take out the cable. Lower the vehicle and slip a small screwdriver into the ball at the end of the cable, then push this ball end out of the clevis. Pull and twist the cable end closing at the pedal bracket and then slide the cable out. Then, undo the left cowl trim, remove the sill plate, draw back the carpet and unhook the line from the body clip. Loosen the cable by pulling it and the body grommet will also come free. Put the cable's end into the hole found in the pedal assembly from the vehicle's interior side, set the retaining piece in the assembly and attach the cable ball end to the clevis on the pedal assembly. Go the top wheel-well route and clip the cable there; afterwards, go down through the floorpan and put the body grommet in place. Set the carpet on the floor and screw in the left cowl trim and sill plate after that. Raising the vehicle once more, place the cable through the underbody bracket and the housing retainer in it. First, plug in the cable, set the park brake and then lower the car.
