How to Service and Repair a Rear Door Latch Assembly on 2001 Dodge Ram 2500?

In order to fix or repair the lock beside the rear door, raise the window all the way up and slide out the waterdam. After that, take out the actuator rods and unbolt the cylinders. Then, disconnect the electrical wire and take out the latch. For installation, connect the electrical connection, them attach the latch, install the bolts and tighten them to 10 N.m (89 in.lbs). Link the actuator rods, modify the latch as required and then install the waterdam.
