How to service the rear wheel speed sensor on 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Van?

Support the car by raising it, then proceed to work with the speed sensor. Release the wire from the rear sensor found on the axle housing and afterward, unbolt the sensor and bracket to remove them. Attach the sensor wire to the hose of the rear brake using the supplied clips during installation. Place the sensor and bracket into the axle housing, inserting the mounting bolt which you tighten to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) After reconnecting the wire to the sensor, make sure it's secured to the mounting bracket and then remove the support and slowly lower the vehicle.
