How to Properly Service a Muffler on 2001 Dodge Stratus?

To service the muffler, chill exhaust system, jack up and penetrating oil to band clamp. Remove the ground strap, loosen up the band clamp, and remove the muffler/pipe assembly. Install original parts for replacement, install from front to rear, and be sure to get correct alignment before tightening band clamp.
