First, siphon power steering fluid from the reservoir and then cover all ends of hoses, pump fittings and steering gear ports to stop them from becoming dirty while the repair is done. The Return Hose is made up of the Return Hose With Tube and the Return Hose To Reservoir components. To access the Return Hose With Tube, take off the front fascia, raise the vehicle if you need to and take off the attachment bolt and nut on the forward splash shield. Loosen the pressure hose of the power steering unit from its connection at the gear, then undo the return hose from its place and afterward remove the air shield beneath the left end of the reinforcement. Drop the reservoir over the chamber, add the screw and fill the container with coolant before releasing any trapped air.
