How to Service and Repair an Oil Pan on 2001 Jeep Cherokee?

The oil pan can be repaired by disconnection of battery, emptying the oil and lowering the exhaust pipe. Take out the starter, flywheel and engine mount bolts. Disconnect the sensors, and disconnect the oil pan. Wipe with clean cloth, put on a new gasket and reassemble. Lastly, re-fit it all and test it.
