How to Remove and Install a Fuel Level Sensor from the Fuel Pump Module on 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

The fuel level sensor and float assembly are located on the side of the fuel pump module that lives within the fuel tank. First, you need to remove the fuel tank, followed by taking out the fuel pump module. Release the holding clips on the electric connector and lift up on the release tab to slip the fuel level sensor off the pump module. To install, set the fuel level sensor over the pump module and press it into place, plug the electrical connector, add the fuel pump module after, and then fasten the fuel tank.
