How to remove and install a battery tray on 2001 Jeep Wrangler?

First, extract the battery and the battery temperature sensor to remove the battery tray. After that, take out the four screws with washers that fix the battery tray to the reinforcement placed between the dash panel and the inner panel of the front wheelhouse in the engine compartment and then remove the battery tray. For installation, clean and check the battery tray, put it on the provided reinforcement in the engine compartment and use the four screws with washers to attach it and tighten them to 22.6 Nm (200 in. lbs.). After that, install the battery temperature sensor on the battery tray and then place the battery back on the tray.
