How to Service and Repair a Starter Motor on 2001 Jeep Wrangler?

In order to fix the starter motor, loosen the negative battery cable and lift the vehicle. Unbolt the starter motor, then un-bolt battery positive cable and solenoid connector. Fit the starter motor and reconnect solenoid and tighten connections. Lastly, reconnect the battery cable by placing the vehicle downwards.
