2002 Chrysler Voyager Blower Motor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How Can the Blower Motor and Blower Wheel Be Serviced as a Balanced Unit on 2002 Chrysler Voyager?
A: A rear blower motor and blower wheel should always be serviced together; they must be replaced if any of them is faulty or if they are damaged. Take out the heater-A/C unit from the vehicle at the start of the process. To use the system in manual temperature mode, pull the rear blower motor pigtail out of the pigtail wire connector, but if the system is set for automatic, place it into a receptacle on the blower power module. Following that, release the blower motor by taking out the three screws from the outboard section of the rear heater-A/C unit housing and remove the blower motor and wheel. For installation, put the blower motor and blower wheel on the outside edge of the back heater-A/C housing and tighten the three screws to 18 in. lbs./2 Nm. Join the rear blower motor wire back to the pigtail, depending on your temperature control and return the rear heater-A/C unit housing to the vehicle.
