2002 Dodge Grand Caravan ABS Control Module Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair the ABS Control Module on 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan?
A: Disconnect the battery terminals and take out the battery before working on the Controller Antilock Brake. After that, take the vacuum line off the tank fitted into the battery tray and unscrew the coolant neck from the tray. After that, take out the battery tray. After pulling up on the CAB lock, separate the 24-way connector and then break the link between the pump/motor and the CAB connector. Unscrew the CAB from the HCU and pull it straight off the mount. To install the CAB, just slide it on top of the HCU, insert the screws and tighten them to 2 Nm (17 in lbs). Restore both the 24-way wiring connector and the pump or motor wiring connector. Insert the plastic battery tray into the hole in the hood's hinged piece and secure it with the coolant filler neck screw. Fit the vacuum hose back to the coolant tank in the battery tray, secure the battery and attach both battery cables.
