How to Safely Remove the Crankshaft Timing Gear Without Damaging Valves or Pistons on 2002 Dodge Intrepid?

To install the crankshaft timing gear, you have to remove the primary timing chain and not rotate the crankshaft first. Install the crankshaft damper bolt using grease then. Apply Special Tools 5048-1, 5048-6 and 8539 over timing gear and nose of crankshaft and then rotors of timing gear are removed with caution without turning over crankshaft.
