Pull the rubber hoses off the EVAP canister and then remove one nut from the bracket to lift the canister out. The canister should be located onto the bracket and held with two nuts, each tightened to 6.7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). After the hoses are connected, fit the EVAP canister and bracket in place and secure the nut to a tightness of 22.4 Nm (250 in. lbs.). After that, set the vehicle lower and secure the negative battery lead.
