  A: For the Evaporative Emission Control Canister service, you should first remove the negative battery cable and lift the vehicle to help you work. Remove the hoses from the EVAP canister and remove a nut from its bracket before getting the canister out. Place the EVAP canister on the bracket and fasten it using two nuts, tighten them to 6.7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). Put the hoses together, then fix the EVAP canister and bracket on the vehicle and tighten the nut until it reaches 22.4 Nm (250 in. lbs.). After that, slowly lower the car and place the negative battery cable back.
