How to Service a Coolant Reservoir on 2002 Dodge Ram 1500?

Before you service the coolant degas container, first let enough coolant drain so that the container is empty. Then, remove the clamps and unhook the supply and return hoses from the container. Take out the mounting bolts from the tractor's coolant container and tilt it toward the engine so that the locking pin features come apart and can be lifted out of the fan shroud. To install, fit the container so the mounting pins are drawn into their slots on the fan shroud, secure them in place with tightened bolts and check that the locking feature is in place. Secure the hoses to the container, with the clamps in place and restock the cooling system.
