How to Maintain a Power Steering Hose from Gear to Cooler on 2002 Dodge Ram 1500?

The return hose runs from the gear to the cooler; before attaching it, drain the power steering system and raise the vehicle with support. First, unhook the return hose from both the cooler and the gear and remove it from the routing clamp at the fan shroud before bringing it out. After installing the main hose back onto the vehicle, connect it again at the cooler and at the gear, making certain to tighten it to 71 Nm (52 ft. lbs.). Attach the hose that route to the fan shroud clip, take out the support, lower the vehicle and fuel the power steering.
