To repair the fluid pan of a 45RFE transmission, support the vehicle, place a drain pan under it and remove the pan bolts. Drain fluid and remove filter and seal. If replacing the cooler return filter, Oil Filter Wrench 8321. Properly dispose of used fluid and filters.
