How to Replace Car Speakers in the Instrument Panel on 2002 Jeep Liberty?

The first step in replacing the instrument panel speaker is to cut off the negative cable from the battery. After that, take out the A-pillar trim and the instrument panel top cover. After that, remove the screws securing the speaker, take out the speaker and disconnect the wire harness connector. Installation requires you to join the harness plug and attach the speaker, attaching it using mounting screws set to 2 Nm (20 in. lbs.) torque. After everything is in place, install the top cover of the instrument panel and the A-pillar trim and put the battery terminal back into place.
