How to Maintain and Fix a Cam Gear on 2003 Chrysler 300M?

In order to service the camshaft gear, lift the front timing belt covers and line up the crankshaft at TDC. Test the piston by a dial indicator and then take out the camshaft retainer plates. Adjust the camshaft, take off the timing belt and change the sprockets. Install timing belt and tensioner then tighten bolts and reassemble parts.
