2003 Chrysler 300M Engine Mount Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Left Engine Mount on 2003 Chrysler 300M?
A: At first, raise the car up on a hoist, then take off the nuts that attach the isolator to the top of the bracket on the left engine mount. Place a jack and a length of wood underneath the oil pan, at its widest point, then unscrew the nuts connecting the bottom of the isolator to the frame. Raise the jack carefully so you can take out the isolator with heat shield from its mount. Install the double-sided tape on the frame and stick the isolation mount with heat shield in place. Then, lower your engine onto the isolation mount. When the jack has been removed, tighten the isolator to frame nut to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.) and install the upper attaching nuts to the mount, tighten them to the same pressure as the isolator to frame nut. After that, gently lower the vehicle onto the ground.
