How to Service the Canister Purge Valve on a 2.4L Turbo on 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

The first step for Canister Purge Valve service on a 2.4L Turbo is to remove the negative cable from the car battery. Pull the power valve away from the bracket by pressing the tab that is holding it in place. Open the connection to the purge valve, separate it from the electrical setup, take out the two vacuum lines and pull the valve off. Your first step in installation is to set up the two vacuum lines and then attach and lock the purge valve's electrical connector. Then, put the valve in place on the mounting bracket and then attach the negative battery cable.
