How to Maintain a Power Window Switch on 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Before servicing the power window switch, remove the connection from the battery negative cable to keep the system from activating. For this front switch, get a trim stick (special tool C-4755) or something similar and gently push at the top of the switch field. Disconnect the switch from the electrical harness after removing it. The procedure is similar for the rear switch: detach the battery negative cable, carefully pry up the top with the trim stick, take off the switch and unplug the harness connectors. To install the system, connect the switch to the front and rear electrical harness, place it exactly over the switch, press down to hold it in place and connect the battery's negative cable lastly.
