How to Maintain and Fix a Window Motor on 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

If you can, open the window right up to the top and trip the negative battery cable before fixing the power window motor. Then, take off the door trim panel and unplug the connector from the motor's wiring. Get rid of the window regulator and, when it's on the bench, remove the three screws that attach the motor to the regulator and pull away the motor. Fit the motor over the regulator and attach it with the three screws you removed earlier. After inserting the regulator, join the electrics at the window motor and set the door trim panel back in place. Reattach the battery's negative cable at the end.
