How to Service and Repair a Control Arm Bushing in the Rear Suspension on 2003 Dodge Dakota?

The first thing you should do is take the spring off the rear suspension before repairing or servicing the control arm's bushing. After that, use a driver, matched to the eye, in a press to remove the bushing. With the same driver, press a new bushing into the spring eye so that it sits in the middle. Reinstall the springs back on the vehicle after you have removed them.
