A: Start by raising your vehicle, then stabilize the rear axle to work on the shock absorber. Unscrew and remove the lower nut and bolt and the upper ones, from each bracket to separate the front springs and remove the shock absorber. For installation, fix the shock absorber in position and tighten the upper bolt and nut to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.). Also, install the shock absorber onto the axle bracket and lock it with a bolt and nut. After, use a torque wrench to tighten the shock absorber nut to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.). Afterward, take off the axle support and lower the vehicle.
